Spider got her name when a friend handled her for us as a baby at a puppy match. As she leaped and climbed her way up the lead in her exuberance, she reminded us of a spider on a string! Her high spirits eventually evolved into a terrific show dog attitude. Though smaller in size than some of our bitches, Spider's "Choose me!" expression, balance and movement led to her championship. She had multiple Best of Breed wins from the classes.
Fun-loving and sweet, Spider now enjoys her new home where she gets lots of love and attention as an "only dog."

The story behind the photo: This web appeared attached to our grooming table one night as we were camped out at the Dalmatian Nationals in Indiana. The spider spun it within an hour or two and we watched as she trapped insects in the web. We snapped a few photos and promised our "Spider" that we'd put the best one on her webpage...and here it is!
