BIS/BISS Ch. Dakota's Victoria's Secret

Zoe was our "dreams do come true" dog. She was our first multiple Best In Show, multiple Best In Specialty Show dog. She was the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty Best of Opposite Sex winner in 1998 and was Best of Breed at the Detroit Summer Specialty the same year. Zoe  qualified for, and competed in, D.C.A. Top Twenty competitions 3 times and in 1996, was the Nation's  #5 Dalmatian and #1 Breeder/Owner/Handled Dal. Zoe's last show was the 1998 Nationals.

Her first litter, sired by Ch. Snow Hill's Rapscallian, produced three Champions: Rumor, Calla (L) and Patrick (L). Her second litter, sired by Ch. Spotlight's Obsession produced Ch. Collin (L) , \who had two five point majors at 8 mos. of age and Ch. Charmer. Bred just twice, she produced some lovely babies, five of which became champions. Almost all of our dogs today go back to her.

Zoe was co-owned and lived at home with Diane Ryan, Rockton, Illinois until she "crossed the bridge" August 8, 2005.  She left us peacefully at home with her beloved Diane holding her head in her arms.

"Once in a lifetime" is used a lot these days but with Zoe, it was such a true statement. Not because of her wins or her records but because of the wonderful journey she took us on and the life long friendships we have today because she entered our lives. Her everyday love and companionship cannot be duplicated.

Godspeed Zoe, we will miss you till we meet again.
