Dakota's Webmaster is Diane Ryan of Rockton, Illinois. Diane bred and showed several Champion Labrador Retrievers under her Bailiwick kennel prefix in the late 70's and 80's. Later, she bought a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier bitch which she finished and bred one time to produce three champion offspring. Diane co-owned several Dals with the Benoits, but the one who was most memorable was BIS/BISS Ch. Dakota's Victoria's Secret (Zoe),

While her main breed has been the Dalmatians she loves and co-owns with the Benoits, she now has Wire Fox Terriers with only one Dalmatian still with her, Ch Dakota's Crossfire (Ready).  She has  finished several Wire Fox Terriers and a white Standard Poodle puppy will be joining her at the end of 2007. Her current show dog is Ch. Hiwire Caliente, a Ginger Wire Fox Terrier.

Diane taught school for 29 years, but is now enjoying her early retirement at home with her dogs. She loves taking digital pictures and working on the Dakota Website. Helping Kris and John raise and socialize their Dakota puppies and lending a hand with the show dogs on the road are favorite activities.
